But basically, what we’re trying to say is that exposure given in the right amount can take a photo from good to great and an Instagram page full of high-quality images is bound to attract the attention for your business that you’re looking for.

#2. Natural Lighting – Our first point brings us nicely onto this second one. Natural lighting is mainly what wedding photographers use to capture their images and these are the photographs that you should upload onto your business page on the gram. Most of your potential clients will be looking through those images you’ve shared, thinking I want something just like that! So, make sure you put your proudest shots out there for people to admire, alongside the traditional wedding photographs that every ceremony will entail. Afterall, your client needs to know what kind of quality of work they can expect from you, so make sure the photographs you choose to share are a true representative of your work and remember to use natural lighting as much as possible for the most Instagramable images!

#3. Consider The Weather - That said, getting natural lighting can be tricky, especially if you live in places and seasons with limited hours of sunshine. So look at the weather app beforehand and schedule your photo shoot accordingly so you can make use of natural day light in your photographs, because the last thing that you’ll want is a light and bubbly feed, only to be ruined by a dim photograph and we can’t imagine that your client will be too happy to see their photo in comparison with your others anyway, so the lesson is, always plan ahead and have a backup plan if the weather isn’t on your side. You’re going to have to produce amazing images either way – no excuses.

#4. Invest In The Right Equipment – Of course none of the previously mentioned points would matter if you don’t have the right equipment on your side. Photography equipment can be really expensive, especially the lenses and other accessories can add up very quickly.
